The Lancaster Smokehouse is a family restaurant with a simple vision- keep it local, keep it fresh and ensure its homemade! We brought Southern BBQ to Waterloo Region in 2009 after learning the craft on the Smoked BBQ Competition circuit in the 1990's and 2000's. Our first restaurant- Hog Tails BBQ opened in 2009, was so busy we knew we had to expand. The iconic Lancaster Tavern was the perfect venue to make that happen! Opened in 2011 "The Lanc" continues to delight our great customers as the "go-to-spot" for mouth watering BBQ and amazing experiences, live music and awesome Craft beverages!
Our famous Lancaster Food Truck supports our growing Catering business by offering an on-site mobile kitchen for all sizes of events! Inside our facility is the Lanc Loft- your destination for hosted meetings, parties and weddings up to 100 people with full bar service, catering and separate washroom facilities!
